D21 Parents say schools should be closed on 12/23/24. DOE First Deputy Chancellor Dan Weisberg says "no"

As parental momentum continues to build to close schools on Monday 12/23/24 we have learned that first deputy chancellor Dan Weisberg has rejected CEC 21’s resolution calling for the closure of schools on 12/23.

Since we first posted about the 23rd the student created petition calling for schools to be closed has received over 5,000 additional signatures. Let’s help keep the momentum up by signing and sharing far and wide.
