Why I’m voting for Unity

I joined UNITY under Sandy Felman's leadership. I was approached by my chapter leader who asked me if I would like to join Unity. I asked her who else were members that I knew. She started to mention many people, all of whom had always gone out of their way to help me when I was a new teacher. People who always wanted to help improve things for people and go out of their way to help.

I asked her about the other caucuses, at that time it was New Action . I asked her who was in New Action and the people she mentioned were people I found who would complain a lot and never had recommendations on how to make it better. It seemed to me that all they wanted to do was yell and complain that things were not being done correctly. I never ever heard a solution or recommendation, just complaints.

I was proud to be asked then and even prouder now to be part of a caucus that wants to serve and protect the membership as Unity has and will!
